CivilFEM, a Civil Engineering software, performs the best customization of the world known finite element program ANSYS. The capabilities, prestige and quality (ISO-9001) of ANSYS, combined with the general capabilities and specific advanced modules of CivilFEM, make this software a unique and powerful tool for all types of advanced civil engineering analysis (linear, no linear, static and dynamic) and design, conforming the requirements of the Civil Engineering industry.

Among CivilFEM's preprocessing capabilities it is worth pointing out the extensive materials library (structural steel, reinforced steel, concrete, soils and rocks). In this library the material properties are time dependent, as well as the possibility of defining non linear stress-strain diagrams, definition of correlations among different geotechnical parameters and so on.

The Civil Engineering section library is very powerful and flexible allowing defining any type of cross section (hot rolled shapes by the library, by dimensions, by plates, generic, etc). In addition, the user can introduce his/her own materials and sections into the software libraries.

CivilFEM INTRO postprocessing capabilities include utilities that facilitate a direct graphical output and listing of results in Excel and HTML formats. The CivilFEM smart combination module allows the possibility of selecting in an intelligent way a group of loads as well as their coefficients to meet certain targets. Results include concomitance at global level as well as at element or node level and the worst load configuration.

CivilFEM, your Civil Engineering software, also performs check and design of structures according to Eurocodes, Model code, Spanish codes, British Standards, American, Australian and Chinese (concrete) Standards. CivilFEM offers a set of tools that allow to automatically carrying out the seismic spectral analysis allowing reducing the analysis time and increase the results quality.

CivilFEM software allows the integration, at preprocessing and postprocessing levels, with the well-known geotechnical software FLAC3D.

The Bridges and Civil Non Linearities Module adds to all these features the possibility of performing non-linear buckling analysis, non linear analysis of forces and moments redistribution, cracking and yielding analysis, linear and superficial mobile loads generator, bridge cross section utilities, automatic generation of solid and finite element model, utilities for applying prestressed forces...etc.

The Geotechnical Module allows performing advanced analysis of a wide range of geotechnical problems such as slope stability analysis, retaining walls analysis and design, automatic generation of layered soils, seepage analysis, initial stresses without strains...etc.

CivilFEM includes pre and post processing for FLAC3D. FLAC3D offers advanced continuum modeling for geotechnical analysis of rock, soil, and structural support in three dimensions, and is supplied by Itasca.
